KEDAR SHIKSHAN PRASARAK MANDAL was established on January 19, 2009, as an NGO (Charitable Organization) registered under Society Registration Act 1860. We are directly benefitting over 700 children and their families every year through more than 3 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, across over 1000 remote villages and slums in 3 districts of Maharashtra.
We have established BACHPAN PLAY SCHOOL & BKIEA School in Kolhapur district (2009 & 2016 respectively), providing value-added education along with prescribed educational curriculum of Maharashtra to both boys and girls of less privileged community from class nursery to class VIII. We also operate as a National Skill Development Corporation Training Provider (TP039212) and Vocational Training Institute (VTI-MSCVT/VTI-2019/PVT06628T).

To uplift the less privileged rural children by providing basic value-added education and to create awareness among illiterate women regarding family welfare, health education, and personal hygiene. We believe education is both the means and the end to a better life, empowering individuals to earn their livelihood while increasing awareness on healthcare, social behavior, and rights.
To adopt a lifecycle approach of development, focusing our interventions on children, their families, and the larger community. We believe that unless members of civil society are involved proactively in the process of development, sustainable change will not happen. Following the model of Civic Driven Change, we sensitize and engage civil society as an active partner in all our welfare initiatives.
